Chris was born in Hampton Bays, New York and grew up in West Babylon, NY.

 

Chris entered into the ministry of Teen Challenge at the age of 22 after battling a 9 year addiction to drugs and alcohol and it was there that he felt called by God to full time ministry, and ended up at Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri.  After graduating in 2001 with a Bachelors Degree in Biblical studies and Preaching and Evangelism, he served as a pastor at various churches and ministries, as well as at New York Teen Challenge until 2019. In January, 2019, Chris was appointed Lead Pastor of Compass Church in East Northport, New York.

 

Chris and his wife, Kristen currently live in East Northport, and have three children: Josiah, Christian, and Isabelle. Loving and serving people and our community is the very core of everything the Fennelly’s and Compass Church believe. “We are all about people… because God is all about people.”
